The Nigeria international was linked with a move away from Olympiacos during the last summer transfer window, but the Greek Super League champions opted to retain the left-back.

However, Olympiacos are now reportedly open to selling Onyemeachi if their valuation is met.

Transfer expert Ekrem Konur reported that the Greek club is willing to listen to offers for the defender but would seek a significantly higher fee than the amount they paid to sign him.

Olympiacos signed Onyemeachi from Portuguese club Boavista in January 2025 for around €2 million.

The Greek champions are now reportedly looking to receive approximately €6 million for the 27-year-old.

Despite the reported interest from Real Betis, there is currently no concrete offer or active negotiation for the player.

The Spanish club is understood to be monitoring the situation as it considers options in the position.

Real Betis are not the first Spanish club to show interest in Onyemeachi.

The left-back previously attracted attention from La Liga sides Las Palmas and Getafe during his time at Boavista.

Onyemeachi has continued to build his reputation since moving to Greece, where he has featured for Olympiacos after establishing himself in Portuguese football.

The Nigeria international’s performances have continued to attract attention from clubs outside Greece, with Real Betis now reportedly among the latest sides monitoring his situation.
