Football statistics platform Transfermarkt has released its latest update on the world’s most valuable players, ranking elite footballers across centre-backs, central midfielders and attacking positions in world football.
The updated valuations highlight rising stars and established names across Europe’s top leagues, with Arsenal defender William Saliba topping the centre-back list.
Most Valuable Centre-Backs
William Saliba (Arsenal) leads the rankings at €100 million. Barcelona’s Pau Cubarsí and Paris Saint-Germain’s Willian Pacho follow with €80 million each.
Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhães is valued at €75 million. Manchester City’s Josko Gvardiol, Manchester City’s Marc Guéhi and Bayern Munich’s Dayot Upamecano are all valued at €70 million.
Inter Milan’s Alessandro Bastoni is valued at €65 million. Luka Vušković (Hamburger SV) and Dean Huijsen (Real Madrid) are both valued at €60 million.
Most Valuable Central Midfielders
Barcelona’s Pedri tops the midfield rankings at €150 million, ahead of Paris Saint-Germain’s João Neves at €140 million.
Arsenal’s Declan Rice is valued at €120 million. Chelsea’s Enzo Fernández and Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde are both valued at €90 million.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Warren Zaïre-Emery is valued at €80 million. Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson is valued at €75 million.
Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo, Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister and Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimarães are all valued at €70 million.
Most Valuable Left Wingers
Paris Saint-Germain’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Real Madrid’s Vinícius Júnior top the list at €140 million each.
RB Leipzig’s Ousmane Diomande is valued at €90 million. Juventus’ Kenan Yıldız, Manchester City’s Jérémy Doku and Manchester United’s Matheus Cunha are all valued at €75 million.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola, Bayern Munich’s Luis Díaz and Barcelona’s Raphinha are valued at €70 million each.
Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon is valued at €55 million.
Most Valuable Attacking Midfielders
Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham leads the attacking midfield category at €130 million.
Barcelona’s Fermín López, Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz, Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai are all valued at €100 million.
Real Madrid’s Arda Güler, Manchester City’s Rayan Cherki and Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers are valued at €90 million each.
Como’s Nico Paz is valued at €80 million.
Most Valuable Right Wingers
Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal tops the global rankings at €200 million.
Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise follows at €150 million. Paris Saint-Germain’s Désiré Doué is valued at €120 million. Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is valued at €110 million.
Chelsea’s Estêvão and Manchester City’s Antoine Semenyo are valued at €80 million.
Manchester United’s Bryan Mbeumo is valued at €75 million. Bournemouth’s Rayan is valued at €60 million.
Chelsea’s Pedro Neto and Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye are valued at €55 million each.
The updated list highlights the dominance of young players in global football valuations, with several under-23 stars ranking among the most expensive assets in the game.
Transfermarkt noted that valuations are influenced by performance, age, potential and market demand across Europe’s top leagues.
