Victor Osimhen Galatasaray signing has sent shockwaves through European football as the Nigerian striker was officially unveiled at RAMS Park alongside German star Leroy Sané in a spectacular event on Saturday.

The grand unveiling drew tens of thousands of Galatasaray fans to the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex in one of the most anticipated moments in Turkish football history. Lights, music, and roaring chants set the tone for what club officials dubbed a “new era.”

Osimhen, 26, completed a €75 million permanent move from Napoli, making it the most expensive transfer in Turkish football history.

His four-year deal is reportedly worth €15 million per year, excluding endorsements. The deal includes a structured payment plan and 10% future sale clause for Napoli.

Despite a record-breaking €40 million-per-year offer from Al-Hilal, Osimhen rejected the Saudi millions in favor of Galatasaray. “I came because I love this place,” he said in his first club interview. “This is where I can express myself fully.”

Leroy Sané, signed as a free agent from Bayern Munich, inked a three-year deal worth up to £11 million annually. His Champions League pedigree adds firepower to an already lethal Galatasaray squad.

Vice President Abdullah Kavukcu revealed the magnitude of Osimhen’s personal financial sacrifice, saying, “What he gave up to be here is enormous. No other player would have done it.”

Fans mobbed Istanbul Airport earlier in the week to greet the Super Lig champion, and the official event is expected to generate €6-7 million in commercial revenue from ticket sales, merchandise, and sponsorships.
