AIK are reportedly demanding a fee in the region of €20 million for the highly rated winger, who has enjoyed a strong start to the season in Sweden.

Yohanna has scored two goals and provided three assists in just seven league appearances, a form that has significantly raised his profile among European scouts.

Brighton’s recruitment model, built around identifying and developing young talent, is believed to be a key factor in their pursuit of the Nigerian prospect.

The English club has a strong track record of nurturing emerging players into first-team regulars, which could appeal to Yohanna as he considers his next career step.

Sources indicate that negotiations are progressing positively, with a deal potentially concluding this week if both clubs reach full agreement.

The winger’s performances have also placed him on the radar of several top-flight European teams, but Brighton’s early and sustained interest may give them a decisive advantage.
