In August, Adeleke surprised Adejumo by purchasing all her snacks for ₦50,000 and promising her employment. On Friday, he fulfilled that promise, presenting her official appointment letter via his official X handle.

The governor also approved a scholarship for Adejumo, extending up to a Master’s level, should she wish to pursue further education.

Adejumo, who holds a Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) and formal catering training, became a viral sensation following the incident.

Separately, Adeleke commissioned the long-abandoned Osun Farmers’ House in Osogbo, a project initiated by former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola.

The reopening signals the administration’s commitment to revitalising agriculture and stimulating economic growth across the state.

“This milestone shows how serious we are about meeting the needs of our farmers while driving transformation in every sector of our state,” Adeleke said.
