Bago reassures security agencies in Niger State of his administration’s unwavering commitment to enhancing safety, logistics, and inter-agency collaboration.

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago made this known while receiving newly deployed heads of security and federal agencies in Minna.

The delegation included senior representatives from the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).

In a statement shared by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the governor reaffirmed that security and effective service delivery remain top priorities for his government.

He encouraged the agencies to strengthen cooperation with the state, noting that “development cannot thrive without strong partnerships and secure communities.”

He also urged the officers to adopt a better maintenance culture, stating that the government has made notable investments to ease their operational challenges.

Bago reassures security agencies not only with words but with ongoing material support, which the visiting officials acknowledged.

The state heads of NIS, NSCDC, FRSC, and NIMC commended the governor’s developmental strides and praised his focus on infrastructure, digital identity, and public safety.

ACG Anthony Emeka Chikezie (NIS), Gado Ibrahim (NIS Comptroller), Suberu Siyaka Aniviye (NSCDC Commandant), Aishat Sa’ad (FRSC Commander), and Aisha Yahaya Muhammad (NIMC Coordinator) lauded the “farmer governor” for repositioning Niger State towards socio-economic stability.

They also appealed for enhanced logistics support to scale up their operations and pledged their unwavering support to Bago’s administration.
