Lagos Pacific Lions Club school donation lifts spirits with bags and supplies, encouraging pupils to excel in their studies

Lagos Pacific Lions Club school donation has brightened the day for pupils in Lagos public primary schools, as the club distributed school bags and essential learning materials to children across the state.

President Nasir Lateefat said the initiative was designed to put smiles on pupils’ faces and inspire them to approach their studies with renewed confidence and determination.

She stressed the vital role education plays and urged pupils to stay committed to their lessons and heed their teachers’ advice.

“We are celebrating Literacy Day by engaging with pupils at Ikeja Central School and Ikeja Primary School,” Lateefat told journalists. “We motivated them to appreciate the value of education, which remains a core priority for our club.”

The club handed out over 80 school bags and water bottles, focusing on less-privileged pupils.

Water bottles were given to Primary 1-3 pupils, while older pupils in Primary 4-6 received school bags.

Lateefat revealed plans for future outreach, including a visit to the children’s cancer ward at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba.

She encouraged pupils to prioritise their studies, saying: “Please, concentrate and face your studies so you can have good grades, come out in flying colours and have a bright future. Make your parents proud. God will guide you to come out in flying colours.”

Lateefat also called on parents to prioritise their children’s education, preparing them for a successful future.

The pupils expressed heartfelt appreciation for the support, while their teachers praised the Lions Club’s gesture, noting it would ease parental burdens and motivate pupils to excel academically.
