Ikorodu residents celebrate Valentine’s Day with Goldberg’s Takeover Party, featuring live DJs, performances, prizes, and festive energy

Ikorodu did Valentine’s Day differently this year as residents flocked to the Ferry Terminal for Goldberg’s Takeover Party.

Music, laughter, and celebration filled the space as the brand brought its Gold Standard experience to the community.

Goldberg’s Valentine edition leaned into its signature spirit: “Our Beat, Our Gold”, combining music, connection, and shared moments to create a memorable night.

Actor Odunlade and host Hardvantage mingled with the crowd, handing out gold-themed flowers and inviting couples to the dance floor.

Laughter, playful shyness, and cheering filled the air as one couple won a large bouquet and N50,000 for their chemistry and crowd appeal.

The highlight for many was the DJ battle, featuring local favourites DJ Enizy Eni and DJ Dablat, with N2 million for first place and N1 million for second.

The competition unfolded in three rounds:

1. Each DJ performed solo, setting the tone.
2. Hypemen joined to boost tempo and crowd energy.
3. Guest DJ YK Mule guided the final stretch as both DJs pushed hard for the win.

In the end, DJ Dablat clinched first place (N2 million), while DJ Enizy Eni earned N1 million.

Later, Segun Johnson energized the stage with a live-band blend of crowd favourites.

Closing the night, Qdot kept everyone dancing long past schedule, delivering a loud, celebratory finale.

For Goldberg, the Valentine Takeover in Ikorodu was about connection—celebrating couples, local talent, and familiar faces in a space shaped by the community itself.
