JAMB confirms UTME 2026 exam centre details will be available on printed slips for candidates, including date, session, and CBT location

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has assured UTME 2026 candidates that their examination centre details will be accessible in due course, ahead of the nationwide computer-based test.

The examination body stated on Monday that candidates will be required to print an examination slip, which will contain their centre, session, date, and time.

The update was provided via JAMB’s official X (formerly Twitter) account in response to inquiries from candidates.

UTME 2026 registration, which commenced on January 26, 2026, closed in February with over 1.5 million applications received.

Candidates have the option to sit for a mock UTME scheduled for March 28.

The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination serves as the entry test for Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.

It is also conducted for foreign candidates in countries including the United Kingdom, Cameroon, Benin Republic, Ivory Coast, and South Africa.

JAMB registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, continues to oversee preparations, dismissing rumours of his resignation earlier this year.

Later in 2026, the board is expected to convene a policy meeting to set the national minimum UTME score (NTMUS), which will guide admissions across tertiary institutions.

Candidates are advised to monitor official JAMB platforms for the release of exam slips to ensure they have accurate information for their examination session and centre.
