Super Eagles defender Igoh Ogbu has clinched the Czech First League title with Slavia Prague in Prague, Czech Republic, following a commanding 5-1 victory over Jablonec on Wednesday, sealing the championship in emphatic style.

The title success was confirmed as the Czech giants pulled clear of city rivals Sparta Prague to secure another domestic crown in a dominant campaign.

The Nigerian defender was part of a strong Slavia Prague squad that also featured compatriots David Moses, Samuel Isife and Mubarak Suleiman, all of whom contributed to the club’s successful title run.

Samuel Isife was among the standout performers in the final fixture, finding the net in the 5-1 victory, while Igoh Ogbu and David Moses both featured in the match. Mubarak Suleiman, however, remained an unused substitute.

The triumph marks a second league title for Igoh Ogbu and David Moses with Slavia Prague, while Samuel Isife and Mubarak Suleiman celebrate their first major silverware with the Czech champions.

Slavia Prague’s latest triumph takes the club’s total league titles to 23, further cementing their status as one of the most successful sides in Czech football history.
