Davido will perform at the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert in Los Angeles alongside global stars including Major Lazer

The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has announced that Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, will perform at the Los Angeles leg of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert series scheduled for Wednesday, June 10.

In a statement released on Tuesday, FIFA confirmed that the Los Angeles concert will feature American DJ collective Major Lazer, led by Diplo, alongside Davido, with additional artists expected to be announced.

The event forms part of a global series of synchronised concerts across Canada, Mexico, and the United States as part of the build-up to the 2026 World Cup.

FIFA described the Los Angeles show as a high-energy celebration blending music, football, and culture, with performances designed to connect fans across the three host nations.

The concert will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. PT and live broadcasts beginning at 6:00 p.m. PT.

According to FIFA, the Countdown Concert series will also feature simultaneous performances in Mexico City and Toronto, all linked through live global broadcasts.

Manolo Zubiria, FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Tournament Officer for the United States, said the event is designed to showcase cultural unity ahead of the tournament.

He noted that Los Angeles will deliver an unforgettable entertainment experience just days before the opening match in the United States, bringing together global audiences through music and sport.

Tickets for the concert go on sale on Wednesday, June 3, at 10:00 a.m. PST, while the event will also be streamed on FIFA’s digital platforms, including TikTok, which will serve as the exclusive social media livestream partner.

The full concert and behind-the-scenes content will be made available the following day on FIFA’s video-on-demand platform, VuMe Live.
