The Nigeria Nationwide League One, Nigeria Nationwide League One, on Tuesday announced sweeping disciplinary measures against Ahudiyanem FC following misconduct during their fixture against Right 2 Win FC, resulting in indefinite suspensions for key officials, players, and supporters.

NLO hands Ahudiyanem FC severe disciplinary ban affects players Anayo Chukwujekwu, Christopher Onu, and Emmanuel Ibeh, alongside the team manager and head coach, who were all accused of actions that brought the game into disrepute during the heated encounter.

According to the league’s disciplinary directive, the individuals involved have been barred from all league-related activities pending the final ruling of the disciplinary committee, marking a significant crackdown on misconduct within the competition.

In addition to the suspensions, Ahudiyanem FC supporters have also been handed a ban from league activities, following reports of threats directed at match officials during the incident.

The league described the measures as necessary to preserve order and integrity.

The club was further fined ₦500,000 and instructed to submit a formal written assurance guaranteeing the safety of match officials in future fixtures, underscoring the seriousness of the breach.

Despite the unrest, the league clarified that no points were awarded to Right 2 Win FC, stating that the match was not officially abandoned by match officials at the time of the disturbances.
