The 32-year-old left-back featured in his final appearance for Liverpool against Brentford FC on Sunday, bringing an end to a highly successful spell at Anfield after confirming his decision to leave when his contract expires this summer.

According to BBC Sport, final details of the agreement with Tottenham are still being concluded, but optimism remains high that the deal will be completed soon.

Tottenham had previously explored a move for Robertson during the January transfer window when the club was managed by Thomas Frank, but the deal collapsed after Liverpool opted against recalling Kostas Tsimikas from loan at AS Roma.

The proposed transfer comes as Tottenham continue to strengthen their squad under head coach Roberto De Zerbi, who guided the club to Premier League survival on the final day of the season.

Robertson departs Liverpool as one of the club’s most decorated modern defenders, having made 378 appearances and played a key role in two Premier League title wins and a UEFA Champions League triumph.

His consistent performances, leadership, and attacking contributions from left-back established him as a key figure during Liverpool’s recent era of success.
