Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has warned that Arsenal must continue winning their remaining Premier League fixtures or risk losing the title to Manchester City in a tightly contested race.

Carragher issues Arsenal title race warning came after analysing recent league results, where Arsenal secured a narrow 1-0 victory over West Ham United, while Manchester City produced a commanding 3-0 win against Brentford.

Mikel Arteta’s side currently sit five points clear at the top of the table, with only Burnley at home and Crystal Palace away left to play, while City still have fixtures against Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, and Aston Villa.

Carragher noted that goal difference could become a decisive factor if City produce emphatic victories in their remaining matches, particularly against Crystal Palace.

He explained that a significant winning margin for City could shift psychological pressure onto Arsenal, especially if the title race reaches the final day.

Carragher alerts Arsenal to title race threat emphasised that even a single slip in Arsenal’s remaining games could open the door for a dramatic turnaround.

He added that Arsenal’s recent narrow win compared to City’s more dominant scoreline could become important in determining how much pressure both teams feel heading into the final fixtures.
