Ejuke’s participation in Sunday’s match had been uncertain after he missed Wednesday’s session due to discomfort, according to AS Futbol. He skipped training to prevent the risk of a serious injury.

On Thursday, the winger rejoined his teammates at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios as preparations intensified for the trip to the Camp Nou.

Ejuke has been a reliable squad player for Los Nervionenses this season, featuring in 22 matches across all competitions, scoring once and registering one assist.

Though he has started only four LaLiga games, he has often been deployed as an impact substitute, influencing matches in the second half.

Two weeks ago, he played a key role in helping Sevilla secure a 2-2 draw against Real Betis, earning praise from assistant manager Javi Martinez.

In the reverse fixture against Barcelona earlier this season, Ejuke assisted Akor Adams’s goal, contributing to a 4-1 home win despite coming on as a stoppage-time substitute.
