Arsenal and Manchester United lead the Osimhen Transfer Battle as Galatasaray brace for offers that could reach €140m for the Nigerian striker

Galatasaray are preparing for intense transfer interest in Victor Osimhen as Arsenal F.C. and Manchester United F.C. position themselves for a high stakes Osimhen Transfer Battle that could reach between €130m and €140m.

Reports from Turkish and European media indicate that Arsenal have emerged as the most determined suitors.

Manager Mikel Arteta is believed to view the Nigerian striker as the decisive addition needed to sharpen the club’s attacking line.

Despite the arrival of Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP for €66m last summer, the forward’s early performances at the Emirates have yet to fully meet expectations.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz have struggled to become consistent focal points in Arteta’s tactical system.

Manchester United are also closely monitoring the situation as the club reviews attacking reinforcements ahead of the summer transfer window. The striker’s name has reportedly resurfaced in recruitment discussions at Old Trafford.

Osimhen reinforced his growing reputation on Tuesday by providing the assist for Galatasaray’s 1–0 victory over Liverpool F.C. in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash.

The result followed several influential performances by the striker in the Turkish Super Lig. Across all competitions this season, the 27-year-old has recorded 18 goals and six assists in 26 appearances.

Speaking after the match, Osimhen insisted that his immediate focus remains on helping Galatasaray advance in Europe.

“I believe in this team and the kind of performance we put in against a very good side like Liverpool. I’m optimistic that we can do some damage there at Anfield,” the striker said.

Galatasaray are reluctant to lose their star forward but are aware that interest from major European clubs could prove difficult to resist.

Any potential deal is expected to require a fee between €120m and €140m, a figure that would smash every transfer record in Turkish football.

Such a move would also comfortably surpass the €75m Galatasaray paid S.S.C. Napoli last summer to sign Osimhen on a permanent deal.
