Chineye Otabil delivered a masterclass at the 2025 Aegis Women’s Retreat, sharing insights on leadership, skincare, and personal presence.

Renowned Nigerian beauty entrepreneur and founder of Chiniella Beauty and Varda Beauty, Chineye Otabil, led a high-impact masterclass at the 2025 Aegis Global Women’s Retreat held at The Tawny, providing actionable insights on leadership presence, skincare, and professional poise.

The annual Aegis Retreat is designed to equip women across industries with skills to lead, serve, and thrive at senior levels, blending boardroom readiness training, governance workshops, cultural immersion sessions, diplomatic engagement, and global networking opportunities.

Addressing a diverse audience of women leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs, Otabil shared strategies for sustainable skincare routines, fast and functional makeup techniques, and product recommendations tailored to different skin types.

She emphasised the role of personal presentation as a leadership tool, noting that presence extends beyond speech to the way one occupies a space.

“Presence is not just about what you say in the room; it’s also about how you show up in the room,” Otabil said.

“When you invest a few minutes each day to care for your skin, highlight your features, and step into your day with confidence, you are reinforcing your leadership.”

For over a decade, Otabil has guided senior executives, creatives, and public figures, enhancing confidence and professional presentation.

Her Aegis masterclass underscored her growing influence in shaping global conversations around leadership presence for African women.

The retreat also featured distinguished facilitators, including First Lady of Kwara State and Aegis Global Advisory Board Chair, Ambassador Prof Olufolake Abdulrazaq, Dineo Mathlako, Deputy High Commissioner of South Africa to the UK, Elizabeth Johnson, founder of Medical Tourism Africa, and Abiola Adelana, Head of Tourism Business at Sterling Bank.

Abdulrazaq highlighted the importance of women occupying spaces of influence and mentoring the next generation.
