Wema Bank empowers MSMEs with N3m in business grants, as part of its commitment to supporting small businesses across Nigeria.

The bank disbursed the grants during the Lagos Leather Fair 2025, recognising three entrepreneurs who emerged winners in a business pitch competition sponsored by the bank.

The three grant recipients were EwaOluwa Morenikeji of House of Ewa LTD, Joy Fache James of Paciencia, and Fatima Yusuf of House of Zibima.

Each business owner received N1m to support and expand their ventures.

This initiative aligns with Wema Bank’s ongoing celebration of World MSME Day and its broader goal of enabling Nigerian entrepreneurs to thrive.

The bank continues to stand out as a champion of grassroots business development in the country.

Receiving her cheque, EwaOluwa Morenikeji expressed gratitude.

“I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity to put my business out there and get the support I need to scale. This is definitely going to impact my business. I intend to use this money to expand, get better machinery, and ensure that our output continues to improve. I thank Wema Bank for thinking of small businesses like mine.”
