Erling Haaland and Rayan Cherki made history, after delivering record-breaking performances in Manchester City’s 2–1 Premier League victory over Arsenal FC at the Etihad Stadium.

The win, secured through goals from both players, reinforced City’s title ambitions while also highlighting the growing influence of the attacking duo under manager Pep Guardiola.

Haaland Cherki Premier League records became the standout talking point after the match, with statistical data from OptaJoe confirming several historic milestones achieved during the encounter.

Haaland’s strike saw him become only the second player in Premier League history to score in four consecutive league games against an Arsenal side managed by Mikel Arteta.
