Hansi Flick, head coach of FC Barcelona, has strongly dismissed suggestions that Real Madrid perform better without Kylian Mbappé, describing the French forward as the finest striker in world football.

Flick made the remarks ahead of a La Liga fixture at Camp Nou, responding to growing debate over Real Madrid’s form during Mbappé’s recent absence due to a hamstring injury.

Hansi Flick lauds Mbappe in strong prais comments came after Real Madrid secured a 2-0 win over Espanyol without the French star, fuelling online speculation about their attacking balance.

However, Flick firmly rejected the narrative, insisting Mbappé remains a uniquely dangerous presence on the pitch.

“Real Madrid plays better without Mbappé? He is one of the best players in the world, please. He is incredibly gifted on the pitch,” Flick said.

“In front of goal, he is the best in the world. He is dangerous both inside and outside the penalty area,” Flick stated.
