Harry Kane Bayern Munich future appears increasingly likely to extend beyond his current deal, with the England captain revealing his desire to stay longer at the German club as he enjoys a prolific spell in the Bundesliga.

Kane, who joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, has scored a remarkable 18 goals in 10 games this season.

With 103 goals in 106 total appearances, the 32-year-old striker says he’s “fully all in” and open to negotiating a new contract.

“In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that,” Kane said during England duty ahead of upcoming fixtures against Wales and Latvia.

Although no formal talks have begun, Kane made it clear he would welcome a conversation if Bayern initiated discussions.

“I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise, I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation,” he added.

When Kane left Spurs, many expected him to eventually return to the Premier League in pursuit of Alan Shearer’s goalscoring record.

Kane is currently 48 goals short of Shearer’s 260, and a comeback once seemed inevitable.

But the striker’s tone has changed.

“If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back,” Kane admitted. “Now, I would probably say that has gone down a little bit.”

Despite reports of a £57 million release clause in his Bayern contract, Kane emphasised his focus remains on building success in Germany.

“I am fully all in with Bayern.”

His commitment has not gone unnoticed. Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund recently praised Kane’s performances, calling this “probably the best version of Harry Kane there has ever been.”

Kane lifted his first major trophy last season by winning the Bundesliga, a milestone that’s only fuelled his hunger for more.

“When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and think, ‘I’ve done what I wanted’,” Kane reflected. “But it’s given me more motivation to do more and be better.”

As England’s all-time top scorer prepares for more international duties, his club future seems increasingly tied to Munich – where he is thriving both personally and professionally.
