Jandor says his Lagos 2027 governorship victory will be a “walkover” with Tinubu’s backing and APC support

Jandor victory 2027 will be a “walkover,” according to All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Olajide Adediran, who declared his confidence on Thursday while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today.

Adediran, widely known as Jandor, said that with the support of President Bola Tinubu and the ruling party in Lagos, his chances in the governorship race were assured.

“You cannot imagine what is going to happen this time if I have the solid backing of Mr President and the party in Lagos State. It will be a walkover,” he stated.

The former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate emphasised that he meant no disrespect to opponents but insisted that the APC’s internal unity would be decisive in 2027.

He recalled his strategy during the last election cycle, saying:

“I played a smart one in 2021, 2022, when we were in the party. Because I know we’re not wired to do anti-party. The moment the party presents anybody, all of us will fall in line.”
