Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Arsenal are now advancing negotiations, with the player having indicated a willingness to join the North London club despite interest from Chelsea Football Club and Manchester United Football Club.

The teenager’s preference is understood to have given Arsenal a significant advantage in the race for his signature, as the Gunners look to secure one of the most sought-after young prospects in English football.

Leicester City face the prospect of losing the winger following their recent relegation from the Championship, a setback that has increased uncertainty around several of the club’s emerging talents.

Jeremy Monga, who is only 16, had already agreed to sign a professional contract with Leicester City, which is set to take effect when he turns 17 on July 10.
