Vincenzo Italiano Besiktas Coach move confirmed as former Bologna manager lands in Istanbul to sign deal running until June 2028

Italian tactician Vincenzo Italiano has arrived in Istanbul to complete his move as the new head coach of Beşiktaş, with a long-term deal already agreed.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Italiano is expected to land in Istanbul at 3pm local time to sign a contract that will keep him at the Turkish club until June 2028.

The former Bologna manager is set to begin a new managerial chapter in Turkey as Beşiktaş continue their efforts to strengthen their technical leadership ahead of the new season.

The agreement marks a significant appointment for the Istanbul-based club, who are looking to rebuild competitively under fresh leadership.

Italiano’s arrival is expected to be finalised immediately upon completion of formalities, with the coach ready to take charge and begin planning for upcoming fixtures and pre-season preparations.
