Chelsea forward João Pedro has expressed disappointment after being left out of Brazil’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America, following the official squad announcement by head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

João Pedro misses Brazil World Cup call-up exclusion came as a surprise to many supporters, with the striker omitted despite a strong individual season for Chelsea, where he remained one of the club’s standout performers amid a difficult campaign.
