Speaking at a press briefing after a leadership meeting, State Chairman Yusuf Ado Kibya distanced Kano PDP from the controversial move in Osun State, where the PDP reportedly endorsed APC’s Bola Tinubu. Kibya criticized the development, calling it a betrayal of party principles.

He also dismissed the defection of a few members to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing them as “insignificant” and reaffirmed that the Kano PDP 2027 Endorsement Stance reflects the overwhelming commitment of members to the PDP’s core mission.

“We categorically reject any attempt to undermine or divide our party,” he said.
