Mouka launches its 6th Award for Excellence, promoting academic success and quality sleep with grants to top Nigerian students across schools and universities

Mouka has launched the 6th edition of its Award for Excellence, reinforcing its passionate commitment to fostering academic success and championing the vital role of quality sleep in learning.

The award, introduced in 2020 as part of Mouka’s fifth CSR pillar, “Skills for Life,” recognises the best graduating students from Nigerian universities and secondary schools.

It also highlights how good sleep contributes to improved academic performance.

Mouka’s Chief Commercial Officer, Dimeji Osingunwa, emphasised the link between sleep quality and student achievement.

“Scientific studies show students who enjoy consistent, quality sleep perform significantly better academically,” he said.

“Through this award, Mouka is not just rewarding brilliance but leading the conversation on sleep as a catalyst for better learning outcomes.”

The initiative offers cash grants to the top graduating students in each university faculty and to the overall best secondary school leavers, supporting their further academic or professional journeys.

Previously, institutions such as Nile University of Nigeria, Covenant University, Achievers University, and Elizade University have had students honoured with this prestigious award.

In addition to the award, Mouka promotes student wellness through tailored products.
