Nigeria Electronic Media Content Exhibitions and Awards to host AI training in 2025, empowering creators with cutting-edge skills for sustainable media innovation

The Nigeria Electronic Media Content Exhibitions and Awards (NEMCEA) is set to revolutionize the creative industry with a groundbreaking training program on artificial intelligence (AI) scheduled for 2025.

At a press briefing in Lagos, Mr. Adeniji Omirin, President of the Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN), announced that NEMCEA 2025 will hold on September 16-17 under the theme “Sustainable Content Creation in a Fragmented Media Landscape.”

A highlight will be a special AI training session led by Mr. John Orakwe, a globally acclaimed AI strategist and educator.

“This training is a game-changer for Nigeria’s creative and electronic content industry,” Omirin said.

“By empowering professionals, students, and emerging creators with AI knowledge, we are positioning Nigeria as a global producer of innovative content, not just a consumer.”

Stephen Alayande, NEMCEA’s Project Director, emphasized the conference’s relevance in addressing key challenges in the industry, such as content monetization and audience engagement across diverse platforms.

The event will also feature an unprecedented Director-General roundtable, uniting regulatory heads and industry leaders to foster policies that drive growth and profitability within Nigeria’s electronic media ecosystem.
