This bold initiative aims to equip Nigerian content creators with powerful tools to enhance efficiency and innovation in a rapidly evolving media landscape.

At a press briefing in Lagos, Mr. Adeniji Omirin, President of the Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN), announced that NEMCEA 2025 will hold on September 16-17 under the theme “Sustainable Content Creation in a Fragmented Media Landscape.”

A highlight will be a special AI training session led by Mr. John Orakwe, a globally acclaimed AI strategist and educator.

“This training is a game-changer for Nigeria’s creative and electronic content industry,” Omirin said.

“By empowering professionals, students, and emerging creators with AI knowledge, we are positioning Nigeria as a global producer of innovative content, not just a consumer.”

Stephen Alayande, NEMCEA’s Project Director, emphasized the conference’s relevance in addressing key challenges in the industry, such as content monetization and audience engagement across diverse platforms.

The event will also feature an unprecedented Director-General roundtable, uniting regulatory heads and industry leaders to foster policies that drive growth and profitability within Nigeria’s electronic media ecosystem.
