Nollywood actor Ijoba Lande reveals painful details about his estranged wife’s infidelity and the emotional toll it took on him

Nollywood actor Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, widely known as Ijoba Lande, has made shocking revelations about his troubled marriage with his estranged wife, Muyibat.

In a recent video shared on his YouTube page, the comic actor candidly spoke about the emotional and psychological pain he endured during their union, particularly due to his wife’s infidelity.

Ijoba Lande revealed that Muyibat had multiple extramarital affairs with men in the entertainment industry, some of whom he claims are well-connected. He expressed that the infidelity caused significant harm to their relationship, leading to the eventual breakdown of their marriage.

The actor recalled that his wife often denied him intimacy, even making excuses about her hormones not working, but paradoxically, she was engaging in sexual relationships with other men outside their marriage.

This revelation highlights the profound hurt and betrayal Lande felt, especially given his efforts to keep the marriage intact.

He shared his pain, saying, “Before my wife moved out of the house, she showed me hell. She would deliberately provoke me to beat her, but I never did. It is not easy for a man to beat a woman he loves. Despite everything she did to me, I didn’t want her to leave, so I endured.”

Ijoba Lande also described the emotional toll his wife’s actions had on him. He mentioned that despite the provocative behaviour, he refrained from responding violently, emphasising that his love for her prevented him from taking such actions.

“I have not had sex with my wife in eight months,” he lamented, further explaining how at their child’s naming ceremony, his wife’s male friend danced provocatively with her, even tapping her on the buttocks.

The actor, however, expressed fear about revealing the identities of those involved with his wife. “If I begin to list those who have slept with my wife in this industry, I might not make it home before they come after me, because some of them are well-connected,” he stated, hinting at the potential repercussions of naming names.
