According to a post on the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters X handle on Saturday, Nafiu gave the advice while addressing the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream I corps members at the orientation camps in Ogun and Oyo states.

He commended the corps members for answering the call to national service and urged them to manage their finances prudently, noting that sound financial discipline would be beneficial during and after the service year.

“When you are posted to your place of primary assignment, respect their rules, be punctual, be resourceful and learn the culture of the organisation you are posted to,” Nafiu said.

She noted that the corps members had conducted themselves responsibly and adapted well to the regimented camp life, adding that camp officials were performing their duties with a high sense of synergy.
