Paul Onuachu attracts renewed Saudi transfer interest after rejecting a previous offer, following a prolific season with Trabzonspor

Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has once again become a target for Saudi Arabian clubs after an impressive goalscoring season with Turkish side Trabzonspor.

The 31-year-old forward, who joined Trabzonspor from Southampton FC last summer, is enjoying a prolific campaign that has placed him firmly on the radar of multiple overseas suitors.

Reports indicate that an unnamed Saudi Arabian club has renewed its interest in Onuachu, just weeks after he reportedly turned down a previous offer that would have significantly increased his salary.

The earlier proposal was said to involve a deal that could have tripled his earnings, but the Nigerian international opted to remain in Turkey at the time.

According to fresh claims circulating within transfer circles, the new Saudi suitors are prepared to offer him four to five times his current salary in an attempt to secure his signature ahead of next season.

The striker has been in exceptional form, scoring 24 goals in 29 appearances, making him one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe this term.

His current contract with Trabzonspor runs until 2028, with an additional one-year option, giving the Turkish club a strong negotiating position.
