The trio booked their spots following the Matchday 6 fixtures, joining Arsenal and Bayern Munich, who had already qualified for the next stage of Europe’s premier club competition.

Under this season’s competition format, the top eight teams in the group stage automatically advance to the Round of 16, while those finishing between 9th and 24th enter the knockout play-offs. Winners from the play-offs then progress to complete the 16-team knockout phase.

This season, only 24 teams will move forward to the Champions League knockout stage, making each qualification milestone critical for clubs aiming to claim Europe’s elite trophy.
