Chelsea are expected to finalise the departure of England international Raheem Sterling in the coming days, with the forward poised to complete a move once an agreement is reached.

Discussions are ongoing between the club and Sterling’s representatives, with both sides seeking a swift resolution before Monday.

Chelsea have confirmed their willingness to allow the winger to leave, aiming to conclude negotiations amicably.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sterling is ready to make his move.

“Raheem Sterling is expected to leave Chelsea in the next days and is ready to make his move soon. Chelsea and Sterling’s camp are in contact to find a solution before Monday, as Chelsea are prepared to let him leave. Talks are underway between parties,” Romano stated on X on Tuesday.

Sterling joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2022 and has been part of the club’s attacking setup, though his opportunities have been limited.

He has not featured in a single match this season and was forced to train separately after failing to secure a move before the August 2025 transfer deadline.
