Kwara South youths have commended Senator Salihu Mustapha for his role in education, empowerment and development during the 2025 Ileya celebration, calling his leadership visionary and inclusive

Youths across Kwara South Senatorial District have praised Senator Salihu Mustapha for his unwavering commitment to youth development, citing his impact on education, empowerment, and infrastructure.

The commendation was delivered during the 2025 Ileya celebration held in Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area.

The event, convened by the Oluomo of Isapa Land and former Ekiti Local Government Chairman, Comrade Yinka Ayeni Dallas, served not only as a religious and cultural gathering but also a rallying point for youth empowerment and unity.

Representatives from various youth groups highlighted the senator’s accessibility and responsiveness, noting that his initiatives have significantly improved lives and created new opportunities for young people.

“This celebration reflects the peace, progress and promise we see in Kwara South today, much of which is made possible by Senator Mustapha’s visionary leadership,” said a youth leader at the event.

Attendees enjoyed traditional performances, musical displays, sports competitions, and communal feasting, with hundreds of young participants showing solidarity and appreciation for Mustapha’s leadership style.

In a goodwill message, Senator Mustapha encouraged Nigerian youths to remain hopeful and to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He reaffirmed his own commitment to inclusive governance.

“Our young people are the heartbeat of our future. Investing in their well-being, education and skills is not just a responsibility, it’s a necessity for the growth of our region,” the lawmaker stated.

The event attracted a broad spectrum of influential figures, including former commissioners, past local government chairmen, youth leaders, professionals and women leaders.
