The declaration was made during the group’s national inauguration ceremony held under the theme, “Connecting the Youth to a Stable Future,” where members also unveiled their mobilisation structure and formally aligned with the City Boy movement.

Speaking at the event, the National Coordinator of the group, Rowland Odih, said the decision to support Tinubu was based on what members described as the administration’s policy direction and commitment to youth inclusion.

According to Odih, the organisation intends to strengthen youth participation in governance while mobilising support for the President ahead of the next election cycle.

“We are going to work day and night to ensure that we deliver 10 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” he said.

Odih also argued that the current administration has increased youth representation in government and created opportunities for greater involvement of young Nigerians in public service.

The Tinubu 2027 Re-election Support campaign received further backing from the Convener of the Concerned APC Members Forum and Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Renewed Hope Network, Okpokwu Ogeniyi.

Ogeniyi described the movement as evidence of growing youth engagement in national politics and governance.

“The young people are the leaders of tomorrow, and today we are already in government. Today, we have over 40 per cent youth participation in government structures. It shows a deliberate effort to hand over leadership to the younger generation,” he said.

He urged young Nigerians to become more active in community engagement and civic participation, arguing that increased youth involvement is essential to addressing some of the country’s security challenges.

“We must work together to sensitise our communities. Many of those involved in insecurity are young people, and we must redirect them,” Ogeniyi added.

The event brought together supporters of the President, youth leaders and members of allied political groups who pledged to expand grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 elections.

The declaration comes as political groups and support organisations continue to position themselves ahead of what is expected to be an increasingly active pre-election period, with parties and stakeholders already intensifying engagement across different segments of the electorate.
