Speaking during a strategic meeting with leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Aiyedatiwa said, “It is granted that the President will win the election, however, for us in the South-West and Ondo State, the victory must be overwhelming.”

The meeting, which served as a revival of the APC state caucus, aimed to strengthen the party structure ahead of the 2027 general elections. The governor emphasized party unity, urging all support groups to operate under the central APC leadership.

“Our strength lies in our unity,” Aiyedatiwa said, stressing that with no governorship election looming in Ondo, full energy must be channeled into re-electing Tinubu.

APC leaders, including Derin Adesida, Sola Iji, and Ifedayo Abegunde, praised Aiyedatiwa’s proactive leadership and reaffirmed support for President Tinubu’s second term.
