Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have confirmed the signing of defender Issa Yusuf from Bayelsa United ahead of the 2026–27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, as the Ibadan-based side continues to strengthen its squad for domestic and continental competitions.

Yusuf has put pen to paper on a one-year contract with the Oluyole Warriors, becoming one of the club’s early additions in the summer transfer window.

The move is expected to bolster Shooting Stars’ defensive options as head coach Nurudeen Aweroro looks to build a more competitive squad capable of improving on last season’s league performance.

Yusuf joins after an encouraging campaign with Bayelsa United, where he made 25 league appearances and scored two goals, earning attention for his consistency and defensive awareness.
