Former England left-back Ashley Cole has praised Arsenal FC as “mentality monsters” and believes the Gunners are set to finish the season as Premier League champions.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Cole said, “They’re not giving anything up; after 20 years they should win it. Football is a crazy sport and anything can happen, but Arsenal have put themselves in a strong position at this stage of the season. It’s probably theirs to lose.”

Arsenal head into the weekend fixtures seven points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table, though they have played more matches in the title run-in.
