Nigerian gospel artist Chidinma Ekile has revealed details of a powerful 40-day spiritual retreat involving isolation, fasting, and prayer.

During the period, she said she experienced intense emotional struggles, including a terrifying encounter with a dark force.

Chidinma described staying outdoors at night, singing and praying as she sought divine direction.

One night, she recounted being lured to the edge of a cliff by a strong voice urging her to jump, but said an invisible force blocked her, saving her life.
