Nigerian midfielder Christantus Uche has been named the UEFA Europa Conference League Fans’ Goal of the Season winner for the 2025/26 campaign after a sensational strike for Crystal Palace.

Uche secured the prestigious honour after his superb effort in Crystal Palace’s 2-2 draw against Finnish side KuPS Kuopio in December 2025, earning the highest number of fan votes in the competition.

The 23-year-old produced a moment of brilliance at Selhurst Park, curling a precise long-range strike into the net in the opening minutes of the encounter, a goal that quickly went viral among supporters.

His stunning finish stood out among four shortlisted goals, ultimately securing him the top fan-voted award in the competition.

Uche, who spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Crystal Palace from Getafe, featured prominently in the club’s European campaign.

During the competition, he scored two goals in four UEFA Europa Conference League appearances, further underlining his attacking quality from midfield.

Beyond European competition, the Nigerian international also made 14 Premier League appearances for the London club during his loan spell.
