Chukwueze, currently on loan from Milan, scored twice in Fulham’s dramatic 5-4 loss to Manchester City at Craven Cottage on Tuesday.

His goals, alongside fellow Super Eagles international Alex Iwobi, sparked a thrilling fightback from 1-5 down.

Fulham manager Marco Silva has gradually integrated Chukwueze into Premier League football, helping revitalise the 25-year-old’s form.

Chukwueze expressed gratitude for the trust shown by Silva and his teammates, crediting their belief for his performances.

“I think I’m finding myself. The coach believes in me, pushes me, and the fans support me. My teammates push me a lot, so I have to give them credit and the coach credit as well,” Chukwueze said in an interview with Fulham’s official website.

Despite his personal success, Chukwueze emphasised team achievements over individual accolades. “It’s a good feeling to score two goals, but not a good feeling to lose,” he added. “We fought until the last minute, and on Sunday against Crystal Palace, we’re going to give everything for the fans.”
