The incident occurred during off-working hours, sending traders and passersby in the bustling commercial district fleeing for safety as debris began to fall.

The affected section of the building, located in an area that hosts several banks, offices, and retail outlets, has been cordoned off by emergency responders and security personnel to prevent further danger and allow for structural assessment.

As of press time, no official report has been released on casualties or the extent of the damage. Eyewitnesses described the event as “sudden and frightening.” One witness said, “The structure just gave in and people started running for safety.”
