The new company, Terrahives Properties Limited, was unveiled on Tuesday in Mowe, Ogun State, where the first development project is already underway.

The actress, known for her work in Jaylex Aesthetic Production, said the venture is an extension of her lifelong passion for land, space, and storytelling.

“Real estate allows me to shape communities and build a legacy beyond entertainment,” she stated at the launch.

Terrahives Properties, which spans hundreds of acres, carries the tagline “Own your space, tell your story”—a phrase Kuti says aligns with both her real estate and acting roots.

“Acting has taught me the power of stories. Understanding people’s dreams and desires will help me offer properties that fit their narratives. It’s the same empathy and creativity that I bring to roles on screen,” she said.

Despite her foray into business, Jaiye Kuti assures fans that she is not retiring from the film industry.

“Passion fuels me in both fields,” she noted.

“Structuring my time wisely and working with a strong team will allow me to keep acting and build a solid business.”

As a Yewa North native from Egbado in Ogun State, Kuti explained her decision to begin the venture close to home.

She is especially focused on residential and luxury properties that can be transformed into comfortable and inspiring spaces.

“Luxury properties intrigue me because they demand creativity. But I also want to offer affordable homes to everyday Nigerians,” she said.

Beyond business, Kuti has pledged to integrate philanthropy into her company’s mission, offering affordable land and housing options and supporting local initiatives in the Mowe area.

“Giving back is part of the vision,” she said.

She believes her celebrity status will be an asset.

“It opens doors and builds trust. But it also comes with the responsibility to be professional and transparent,” she said.
