Okemesi Burial: Late Nollywood comic and content creator Okemesi was laid to rest in Lagos after passing from health complications

Late Nollywood comic actor and content creator, Okemesi, was buried on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Ayobo Cemetery in Lagos State following his death earlier this month.

Okemesi passed away on February 24 due to complications arising from his medication, ending weeks of concern after he publicly shared his struggle with an alleged spiritual attack that left him paralysed.

The 52-year-old entertainer had previously received urgent support appeals from fellow actor Tony Montana Jeff, who sought financial assistance for Okemesi while he remained in a coma.

Friends, fans, and colleagues gathered to mourn the loss of the veteran comic, remembering his contributions to the Nigerian entertainment industry and the joy he brought to audiences across the country.
