The appeal court ruled that nine supporters will serve one-year prison terms, while six others will complete six-month sentences.

In addition, three supporters were sentenced to three months in prison, with the financial penalties imposed at the initial trial also fully maintained.

The decision means the convictions remain unchanged, with the appellate judges rejecting any modifications to the earlier judgment, effectively ending the legal proceedings surrounding the case.

Despite the severity of the ruling, three of the convicted supporters are expected to be released this Saturday after completing their three-month sentences, marking a partial conclusion to their incarceration.

The case has drawn attention due to its involvement of foreign football supporters and the firm stance taken by the Moroccan judiciary in upholding the original verdict without reduction or review.
