Fulham set to sign Samuel Chukwueze permanently from AC Milan for €28m after impressive loan spell, with Super Eagles winger eager to stay

Fulham Football Club is poised to make Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze a permanent signing from AC Milan for up to €28 million, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The London club has reportedly informed Milan of their intention to exercise the purchase option after Chukwueze’s successful loan spell, though formal confirmation is pending before the deal is finalised.

The base fee is understood to be €24 million, rising to €28 million with performance-based bonuses.

Chukwueze, 26, has impressed at Craven Cottage since joining last summer, rediscovering the form that made him one of Europe’s most sought-after wingers during his time at Villarreal CF.

He has scored three goals and provided four assists in 17 Premier League appearances, thriving alongside international teammates Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi.

The highlight of Chukwueze’s season came with a brace against Manchester City in December, demonstrating his ability to deliver when given consistent opportunities and creative freedom.

The winger has already expressed his desire to remain at Fulham next season and is currently on international duty with the Super Eagles for friendlies against Iran and Jordan in Antalya, Turkey.
