Hip-hop icon Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., known professionally as Snoop Dogg, is mourning the death of his 10-month-old granddaughter, Codi, following a heartbreaking announcement by his daughter, Cori Broadus.

Cori confirmed the tragic loss on Saturday via social media, sharing a black-and-white photo of herself smiling while holding the infant.

In an emotional post, Cori described Codi as the “love of my life,” revealing that the child passed away earlier in the week.

Codi was born three months premature and spent much of her short life receiving intensive care in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Despite the medical challenges, Cori had recently shared hopeful updates on Codi’s condition. Just weeks ago, she posted a photo of herself resting with her daughter, expressing gratitude for what she described as answered prayers.

Codi’s father, Wayne Deuce, also paid tribute to the late infant in a heartfelt social media message, promising that he would always carry her memory in his heart.

The Broadus family has received an outpouring of sympathy from fans and well-wishers, who have expressed their support and condolences during this period of profound grief.
