Tajudeen Abbas congratulates Nigerians on the nation’s 65th Independence, urging unity, hope, and support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

In his Independence Day message on Tuesday, conveyed through his Chief Press Secretary, Leke Baiyewu, the Speaker of the House of Representatives reflected on Nigeria’s journey through a chequered history, while affirming that the years ahead promise stronger unity and prosperity.

Abbas, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, noted that Nigeria is endowed with abundant human and material resources, but emphasised the need for collective effort in building a stronger nation.

He pointed to the ongoing implementation of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a pathway towards national revival.

“Nigeria remains on the right path with the Renewed Hope Agenda. We are still the giant of Africa, and we are destined to reclaim our place as the continent’s largest economy,” Abbas declared.

Acknowledging current socio-economic and security challenges, the Speaker urged Nigerians not to lose faith, but instead to offer more prayers, demonstrate patriotism and remain law-abiding.

He further reassured the public of the 10th National Assembly’s commitment to providing accountable leadership, ensuring good governance and delivering democratic dividends, particularly to grassroots communities.
