During a grand reception at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday, President Bola Tinubu hailed the team’s triumph and resilience, awarding each player the naira equivalent of $100,000, while team officials received $50,000 each.

Going further, Tinubu gifted all players a three-bedroom apartment in the Renewed Hope Estate in Abuja—underscoring the administration’s commitment to rewarding excellence.

The President also conferred the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) title on all players and officials, marking a rare and honorable recognition in Nigerian sports.

“This gesture is more than a reward it’s a signal that your country values your passion, your sweat, and your victory,” Tinubu said.
