Appearing on the Honest Bunch podcast, the former BBNaija housemate revealed that she was paying an eye-watering £5000 monthly in rent while living in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the UK.

But the financial burden was just part of the story.

Tacha opened up about the emotional toll of feeling isolated and unsupported.

Despite having friends in the UK, she said many of them were too busy working multiple shifts to spend any time with her.

“I know people that wanted me to move to the UK but when I came, they were too busy to even see me. And I understand, because everyone is grinding out there,” she explained.

She also reflected on the social realities she witnessed firsthand, including homelessness.

“You go to Tesco and see someone lying on the floor asking for just one pound. It’s not a joke. It’s real life.”

Tacha shared that living abroad without family support was mentally draining.

“You don’t have uncles or aunties or your parents. And everyone you meet is dealing with their own struggles too.”
